Creative anarchy is a messy business, what with all those
paint brushes, film canisters and keyboards flying around.
And don't even get me started on t-squares! Designers may
not use them too much in their work these days, but they're
trained in art school to use them as a deadly weapon. Trust
me, you don't want to mess with an angry designer!
As the concept of a creatives' promotional site moved toward
a reality, it became apparent that we needed some sort of
team to manage the whole thing. We also needed people we could
tar and feather if the project took a nose dive. Enter Catherine
Morley, Nigel Gordijk
and Neil Tortorella,
aka CNN. These three unsuspecting souls were voted in by the
group to handle the organization and management stuff.
Shortly thereafter, CNN realized that this monster they helped
to create couldn't be managed by just three. You see, there's
that day job thing that affords them luxury of eating and
paying for things like mortgages and rent along with other
frivolous things. So, CNN sought out a couple of additional
folks who also look good in tar and feathers. Enter the highly
esteemed, Alina Hagen and Habib Bajrami.
Lucky for us, Derald
Schultz signed
on to save our butts by keeping the articles section current,
along with Calvin Lee to
help out with the profile submissions. Jeff
Fisher also hopped
onboard with his Logo
Notions section.
So, without further ado, here's some background on the Creative
Latitude scapegoats ... er ... respected management team.
