Starting at a young age, Morgan has always been drawing something. Friends and family would find little drawings and notes on everything from slips of paper tucked into the toilet paper roll to full scale “murals” on the side of the family home.

School provided an outlet for her creativity. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1999 in Graphic Design, and at graduation, she was awarded Best Portfolio in her class at the Art Institute. From there, she’s worked for Design Firms, In-House and Ad Agencies. Large and small clients alike are included in Morgan’s portfolio, and she has worked on everything from print coupons and direct mail pieces to board games and large-scale ecommerce sites.

She has held freelance, temp-to-perm, and full-time work in the design industry. She has been laid off and survived, twice! From all this experience, she has learned that you should always have relationships with other designers, placement reps, and the design community. And that perseverance and a positive attitude will get you the jobs that you’ve always wanted.

She lives in Littleton, Colorado with her husband and two dogs and currently runs her own company, www.1designsource.com where she works on print and web projects and is starting a new site dedicated to her illustration, www.morganmann.com. In the little free time that she has, she also enjoys skiing, Pilates and burgers and fries.
