HROI Capital Solutions Tear-off Postcard - After
by Habib Bajrami, Principal of Bytehaus Studio

AFTER:

HROI postcard mailer after

The front of the HROI card features a royalty-free photograph of a crowd tightly cropped to suggest HROI's core capital--people. A warm color palette of orange and red was chosen for warmth and attention as well as a more pleasing, balanced layout. The tear-off section contains contact information on the front. The back of the card was optimized to have the most important information on the tear-off section and to leave the rest of the card for address, postage and post office indicia.

Alina's Feedback:

Quite frankly, if I had received the "before" postcard in the mail, I would have been hard-pressed to tell you what its message was, based on the front of the card. Nor would I particularly feel like spending the time deciphering it due to the dark and harsh colors, the chaotic layout of type and the cryptic message (if any). As Habib pointed out, the tear-off portion failed in its intent miserably. It simply was not well thought-out. Add to all of this, the nightmare of printing it from a Word file, and one has quite a mess here.

Habib has done an excellent job of conveying a warm, informative, yet direct and simple message from HROI. The issues of the tear-off portion have been solved, and the card is warmer and more "people-friendly" ...exactly the goal of the company.
