Jack Jackson, Jr. Logo Deisgn
by Jon O. Roddewig, RigidMotion Corporate Image Design

Background:

Jack Jackson, Jr. was running for Congress in Arizona and needed an image that represented his heritage and the strong positions that he stood for. His original logo was used in a previous campaign, but he felt it didn't have the strength that he wanted. He did want to keep the eagle and the four colors because of the meaning they have to his tribe.

After:

It is always nice to work with a client who knows what he wants. The hard part comes in when what he wants is the same thing everyone else has. There are tons of eagle logos out there. We needed to try to make the eagle unique and still use all the colors the client wanted. The logo turned out great; it has a lot of elements in it, but they all seem to work well together.

Alina's Feedback:

Jon's new logo design for Jack Jackson, Jr. has a much bolder, stronger, political feel to it, and the eagle is presented in a different style and position than most. The italicized font and diagonal lines of the eagle convey to me that Jack is a strong person, who gets things done quickly and correctly, that he is a man of action. It also has a much more professional feel to it with the font, eagle icon and general layout, which expresses Jack's own professionalism in this arena.
