Background:

Atmosphere Solutions is an IT solutions and computer technology company. Their logo needed updating and they wanted a recognizable icon that they could use on marketing materials. They wanted something that represented the company name, but was still simple enough to be reproduced in all mediums.

The two arches represent the atmosphere covering the globe. The arches and the globe also represent the letter "A" for Atmosphere. The client was very happy with the result. It did everything that he wanted.

Alina's Feedback:

While Atmosphere Solution's old logo had some intriguing elements to it, the execution and concept were lacking. The globe is barely noticeable, and the kerning between the @ symbol and the rest of the name is too large, thus disconnecting the two and making it a more difficult read. Jon's new design is much more eye-catching (indeed, it almost looks like an eye!) and is a faster read. The globe is still very small, but because it is so prominently located, it does not go unnoticed as before.
