The Solution:
My design solution maintains integrity and a connection to
the industry they serve (see B below). In addition, I developed
a tagline that reflects Macore's core business plan.
Their previous business card was
full color, oversized and did a better job of featuring their
clients' work rather than their own brand.
I
created a business card that utilizes a unique die-cut
and is printed on
the plastic stock Macore uses for tags. The design also showcases
key
products on the back, while using only two spot colors. The
new cards do double duty by both demonstrating the tags they
produce for their clients, while clearly establishing the
Macore brand
identity.
The mark has been very well received and the next
projects in line will be revamping their entire advertising
approach as well as a new web presence.
AFTER:

Alina's Feedback:
What a huge difference! Von's new logo and branding identity
is much bolder, creating a more memorable impact. The business
cards printed on plastic in an interesting die cut was a
brilliant solution, once again making a memorable impact
as to what Macore is and what they do.
