If you use a Mac, then you know about the latest OS release called Tiger. One of the coolest new features built into the system is Dashboard. It allows you to download and use custom designed widgets on the fly to do everything from translate languages, check the weather, get driving directions or check spelling.

PodcastShuffle.com created a great little widget that allows you to search their massive data base of known podcasts from around the world all from the comfort of your desktop. The functionality of the widget worked well, but I thought the look of it was marginal at best. I approached the developer about overhauling its look and he agreed saying, "I am not a designer, so yeah, anything you can do to improve it. Let's go for it."
