Cosby, Studio 7 and PathWay Join Together To Help Foster Kids
Studio 7's Shawn Wood was recently commissioned by Pathway Caring
for Children to photograph Bill Cosby's comedy at Canton Memorial
Auditorium, Canton, Ohio.
Cosby was brought in to perform for the fund-raising event and
for a promotional photo session with some of the Pathway children.
In typical Cosby style, the sold-out auditorium was left chuckling
and smiling at the close
of the hour-long show.
Given Mr. Cosby's very tight schedule, Shawn needed to maximize
on the brief amount of time available for the photo session.
Prior to Cosby's arrival, Shawn created an on-location studio
in one of the adjancent rooms, pre-lit the set and adjusted
exposure settings. Bill was brought in for the series of photos
with the kids and key Pathway personnel. After the shoot, Cosby
graciously invited Shawn over for a photo together.
Pathway Caring for Children is an organization that provides
children with emotional and behavioral problems with foster
homes. The organization also screens, trains and provides supportive
services for the foster homes so they are able to better live
with and provide a secure environment the children.
Founded in 1985, Studio 7 Photographic Illustration, located
in North Canton, OH provides both studio and location photography
for a broad range of clientele. Owner and photographer, Shawn
Wood, is the recipient of numerous awards for photographic excellence.
