Tortorella Design launches ASMP/ONC Site Redesign

North Canton, OH: Tortorella Design recently launched a website redesign for the American Society of Media Photographers / Ohio North Coast Chapter (ASMP/ONC). The site can be found at www.asmponc.org.

The robust redesign features member images throughout, detailed member profile pages, along with quotes from well-known photographers, events calendars and background information about the Chapter and the Society in general.

"The big trick with this project was being fair to the members," said designer Neil Tortorella. He added, "A prime goal was to feature each member's work in a democratic manner. Simply listing members alphabetically wasn't going to cut it, since the 'A' and 'B' names always come up on top, often leaving the 'W,X,Y and Z" names in the dust. The solution was added random rotating images in the left sidebar, along with a search function. This way each member gets their share of the limelight."

In addition to the site, an e-newsletter is slated to launch in the coming months. The newsletter, targeted to photo buyers, will feature a several members in each edition. It will also carry Chapter sponsor ads, information about upcoming events and tips about working with professional photographers for a seamless project.
