The editors and judges of Graphic Design USA have presented four American Graphic Design Awards for Excellence in Communication and Graphic Design to Honolulu's John Wingard Design. The 2004 award competition invited almost eleven thousand US-based advertising agencies, graphic design firms, and publishers to submit entrees.

Identities for the Maui Bay and Waidroka Estates developments won honors along with John Wingard Design's own identity and collateral.

This competition, now in its 25th year, honors outstanding American
advertising, graphic design and marketing communications. Winning entries are reproduced in Graphic Design USA's Awards Annual. This edition will be mailed to more than 35,000 companies, with a total readership of over 125,000.
