Client: Portland Magazine Project: Editorial Illustration - Body & Soul Notes: Article covered the total health and wellness
of the individual both physically and spiritually. Had fun
integrating the title of the article into the illustration.
Project: Logo/Identity Client: Lindsay Jones - Musician and Sound Designer
Notes: The work of Lindsay Jones is unique. Not a formerly
trained musician Lindsay has developed music for Film, TV
and a wide variety of theatre productions
based out of LA, Chicago and New York. Utilizing a wide variety
of resources for his creations including such items as a bucket,
old typewriter or a circular saw blade Lindsay composes what
most would use to make noise into beautiful music and custom
sound designs.
Since his work is so unique I wanted to develop a logo that
would be equally unique visually yet still relay in a simple
fashion what he does and what makes his work different from
the rest. No, Lindsay isn't an octopus but he does have his
tentacles into many diverse projects.
Project: Editorial Illustration Client: Treasury & Risk Management Magazine Article: Companies buying (eating) other companies
and the risk of doing so. Notes:
The format on this illustration was the difficult part 4"
x 10.75". Since it was a corporate type story I wanted to
use content that had nothing to do with corporate reality
but could still accurately relay the concept of this article.
Ok I lied, I wanted to draw some cool looking fish in business
suits!
