Success story:
Microwave Science
The client had an existing logo for TrueCookPlus¨ that was
being considered for inclusion on Pop Secret Popcorn packaging
by General Mills. It looked dated and the founder and GM weren't
happy with it. I had 72 hours to revise it and create a four-color
and two-color version. I also needed to create artwork for
the keypad on upcoming micowave panels.
I interviewed the client that day to find out more about the
product, and what it needed to communicate. It needed a sense
of motion, a unique shape for easy identification, and a place
for a four-digit number that could be added to the logo on
each food product. The number would change depending on the
product.
I developed one strong concept and one alternate for the logo
and keypad, and the first one was accepted. The founder loved
it and I gained a new client. General Mills accepted it on
the spot and the it should be on their packaging soon, if
not now.
