A few years back, I picked up a job from a fellow designer.
He was having problems coming up with a logo that a client
would be happy with. He offered the job to me.
My solution was to get down to the basics of the company,
rather than trying to think too hard about what would or wouldn't
be pleasing to the client's clientelle.
The result was a logo the client was extremely happy with,
because it was simplified and yet contained enough "magic"
to impress.
