Success Story
Massachusetts College Goal Sunday

Massachusetts College Goal Sunday (CGS) is a non-profit program providing free information and assistance to Massachusetts families applying for financial assistance for higher education. They needed a new campaign developed for their January 2006, event that appealed to a wide audience. This one-day event is held at 13 state-wide locations. Last year’s event had busy materials with unclear information, and they did not get the turnout they had anticipated.

Culp Design was hired to design and project manage the 2006 CGS campaign. I designed a new and easier to understand graphical concept and then applied that to all the campaign materials. This included posters, flyers, bus graphics, postcards, stationery, promotional items and web banners. As well as the design, I did all the production, coordinated all the various print vendors, and managed a 200+ material mailing.

The 2006 CGS event had a much better turnout this time. In most locations, they doubled the attendance rate. Attendees also seemed to travel from further distances to participate. Overall, the CGS group was very pleased with my services and my role in the success of the event.
