Creative Latitude

Each month Creative Latitude updates articles in the Articles section, member news in the News section, adds new members to the Profiles, and sometimes even whole new sections. The 'What's new' on Creative Latitude is where you can come to find out what's been added in the past month, and sometimes what's on offer for the next.

If you have suggestions on new sections or angles Creative Latitude could be looking into, please email Cat as she's always on the prowl for ways to enable Creative Latitude and its members to shine.

What's new at Creative Latitude for April:

Announcements

NO!SPEC

If you haven't noticed, the April edition of Creative Latitude (posted below) has, for the most part, a NO!SPEC theme. For a quick start, read through the NO!SPEC press release. Below you'lll find links to NO!SPEC articles, NO!SPEC editions to various sections, wise comments, press releases and more.

A special NO!SPEC thanks goes to:

Eric Karjaluoto at ideasonideas for exciting the rant, and Betta from ThinkCreation for pushing it forward (and gee, no thanks for the chocolate).

The NO!SPEC committee who rallied around to get the project out in record time - Jeanette Wickham, Tamar Wallace, Elisabetta Bruno, Danita Reynolds, Piers Le Seuer, Erin Harris, Robert Wurth, Alina Hagen, Jeff Fisher, Von Glitschka, Bill Schuhle, Conor, Dawn Burgess, Neil Tortorella, Tom Stephan, Mark Astrella, Dagmar Jeffrey, Chris Tomlinson, Brian Rollins, Michael Miller, Rob Gough, Dana Chrysler, Calvin Lee and Catherine (cat) Morley.

Piers Le Seuer of ArtnSoul Graphic Design for designing a NO!SPEC logo (which pretty much designed the NO!SPEC site on its own.)

Von Glitschka of Glitschka Studios for working into the wee hours of the morning to make sure we have NO!SPEC posters for the launch.

Carmen von Richthofen, Executive Director of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario) for the extraordinary help she gave to the NO!SPEC crusade.

Handsonwebhosting, who has offered to sponsor NO!SPEC bandwidth.

And all the bloggers who supported the NO!SPEC crusade with articles, comments, and by spreading the word of our launch. There are too many to post here so please visit Cat's Fancy: Designers who blog NO!SPEC edition for a range of the top comments. You'll also find a short intro on how this all began.

PLEASE NOTE: Creative Latitude will now be updating every month and a half.

Our new schedule will be in the vicinity of:

May 15
July 1
August 15
